According to last year’s pre/post surveys, after our program,

youth held greater confidence in their ability to

cook healthy meals

and snacks for themselves.

More youth agreed that

they live a healthy life.

Students reported knowledge gains in

basic knife skills and cooking techniques.

And greater confidence that they could

follow a recipe to prepare a dish.

DFA youth were more comfortable

talking about their emotions

and how they feel inside.

More were confident they were a

good leader.
