Jermond Booze

Classroom Facilitator

Jermond Booze is the Classroom Facilitator for DFA’s Advanced Cohort. He has been an Associate Store Team Leader for Whole Foods in Midtown Detroit. He’s also the owner of Upper Crust (a pizzeria opening 2022), Consulting by June, and one third of Taste of Diaspora Detroit. He’s originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and moved to Michigan to attend Eastern Michigan University after graduating from Johnson & Wales. His personal goals include positively impacting his community through food and education, and by serving as an example of what self determination can achieve. His hobbies include fishing, cooking (of course), spending time with friends and family and Kenpo martial arts. He’s loves lending his 20 years of food industry knowledge to the next generation of culinarians!
