Erin comes with a wide range of experience in the food and education field. She is a certified Teacher with the State of Michigan; and has been teaching Mathematics for the last 7 years. Erin is the Co-founder of Nurturing Our Seeds, an urban farm and education center that focuses on growing healthy food, food equity, and food justice in Detroit. She currently serves as a board member for the Michigan Farmers Market Association. She believes that “Teamwork makes the Dream work!”; and that small regenerative agriculture and local food systems is the future of healthy food. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, making flower bouquets, and spending time with her children.
